Awesome write up! I was in Churchill in August 2 years ago on a geocaching trip (geocaching.com). Few polar bears, but tons (literally) of Beluga whales. Gypsy’s was definitely the place to go for breakfast and lunch, and dinner at the Tundra Inn. Welcome to Manitoba!

    • Thanks Dani! Churchill is really something pretty special, huh? I’d love to go back and see more!

Lovely post. Trip to Churchill is up on my bucket list. I am just deciding whether to go in the summer for the belugas or in the winter for the polar bears. I’ll check out the recommended places for food, accommodation and shopping. I am also not sure whether to go just with my hubby or also take the kids (10 &12). What do you suggest? Is this trip suitable for that age group or should I wait untill they are older and appreciate more trip like this?
